About
us: DeAnza Lions Club is one of 40,000 Lions Clubs worldwide, with
a total membership
of around 1.4 million. Our Club was founded in 1969 by Cupertino Host
Lions Club. We currently have about 30 members, men and women of all
ages (29-89), working voluntarily to improve the lot of the disadvantaged
in our community.
We meet each Thursday at 6:45 a.m. at Holder's
Country Inn on DeAnza Boulevard, Cupertino and on the first
Wednesday each month at 6:30 p.m. at Round
Table Pizza on Stevens
Creek for those who find the a.m. meeting difficult
to get to. The purpose of the meetings is to organize our fund raising
activities, funds distribution, community projects and social events.
We enjoy the camaraderie of helping others less fortunate. Morning
or evening we are one group, all for the purpose of helping those
less fortunate. Interested?
All Lions are affiliated members of Lions
Clubs International. Each club agrees to the constitution and
basic principles of voluntary service, we pay dues to the parent
body and to the U.S. administration, but apart from that each club
is self-governing. All running costs come out of our own pockets
- nothing raised for charity is spent on administration.

This
year's Crab Feed was a HUGE success. Thanks to all involved.
Once again we were able to raise lots of money for local
charities and provided a fun, party atmosphere for EVERYONE!!!
See TONS of great
